Patient Care
Dr. Zhu has 35 years of clinical experience in the treatment of various diseases. His greatest success has been in the treatment of migraine, infertility, arthritis, spinal stenosis, stroke sequela, and neck, back and joint pain. Research
Dr. Zhu has conducted extensive research in the treatment of joints pain, migraine, dementia, stroke, vertigo, and prostatitis. He has published 29 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and received 5 awards for these achievements. (Click here for Dr. Zhu's complete publication list)
Teaching
Dr. Zhu has been actively involved in teaching. In China, he served as a Senior Professor at Zhejiang University of TCM in acupuncture. After coming to the US, he taught Chinese medicine as a professor at East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL from 2007 to 2018.
He became well-known after his treatment of headache was recorded on DVD and recommended by the World Health Organization's Collaborating Center for Health Promotion and Publication.
Dr. Zhu has been practicing acupuncture since 1985. He obtained his medical degree from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and practiced both Chinese and western medicine at Hangzhou TCM Hospital in China. He served as the Chief Physician and Chair of the Acupuncture and Stroke Rehabilitation Department of the hospital until 2007 when he moved to the US with his family.
